Highschool in Korea

This is the school where I attended back in my country, Korea. Since Korea is small country compared to US, it is usually built five to six story level high. For high school students they have tons of studies to do so after classes which ends around 3pm ~4pm. There is a free studying period untill 10pm and 11pm for seniors. It is not mandatory but some teachers forces students to be at school and study for college enterance test.

Starting from year, students are assigned to be in one classroom and stays for rest of the year. Students get much more closer than schools in America which they move around classes. In Korea, teachers come to the classrooms.

Since students have tons of study to do they do not get enough sleep plus this is the times when this age sleeps alot. so when its break time for 10minutes, alot of them sleep.

School uniforms are mandatory and it’s quite good for students to wear and not distracted from fashions.

Okinawa, Japan

Okinawa is like Hawaii in Japan ! This hotel, as it’s called, “Private” it really is private since this resort is at north of Okinawa and is separated from other hotels. Other hotels are pretty much located together, but this resort makes you feel like you own the island.
The ocean color is very beautiful and you can see the ocean all the time while you drive to the hotel. The rooms are not a typical one high building, instead it’s cottage style. I never been to cottage style resort, so it was very interesting and very beautiful for me.
The room was very clean, asian style, bathroom was big, balcony was also nice. One thing that I didn’t like was that there was no tv channels for non Japanese guest.

One night my father and I went to eat at a hotel restaurant and looked for a lady’s room, since the language difference, the manager walked me to lady’s room which was out side. He stood and waited with good amount of distance, I was very pleased what he did for me. The employees were generally all respectful and happy mode.
The least thing I didn’t like was I didn’t bring my computer. Since there is no tv channel for non Japanses, you should bring your computer. On the other hand, the best part was the sunset cruise. The ocean is very calm, clean, and beautiful.

Okinawa has a huge aquarium and exhibits over 800 different coral colonies. They have enormous size of tanks and has huge shark whale. It is one of the most popular spot when you visit Okinawa.

This is traditional Okinawa clothes. Okinawa was not part of Japan, therefore it has differnece between Japan.

Alto NYC

alto nyc

‘ALTO’  2 Michelin Star Resturant. NYC. ( Italian Cuisine)

the atmoshpere was very good. The service was also good.

Food for me was complicated to understand but still it was a quite a nice experience of fine dining resturant. Ravioli was saltly for me but except that the food was good. I had 4course which was about $85. Dad had a heavy dinner with other ppl so only had a fish dish. The picture taken is so dark so i’m not posting. the dessert was good except the foam on the top of it. Overall the food wasn’t actually that good of that what i expected. I guess i had high expectation. It was a good dinner with my dad who came all the way to New York to see me over the summer, last  year.

Alto also has Seven-course seasonal dinner, which is $130.
